Dear Members,

I hope you had a wonderful Easter break.

Over the coming month, you can expect to see more content focused on the benefits realised by the 5G Testbeds & Trials projects and the key lessons learned: an important shift as we consider how to transition from 5G innovation to early market adoption. As ever, please feel free to share your findings and any insights.

We are also working with DCMS to support the transition to the next stage of the UK Telecoms innovation agenda while maintaining the amazing ecosystem and knowledge base developed over the last few years.

Also, if you haven’t already, it is definitely worth checking out the latest Three report, which predicts that 5G will account for 35% of data usage by the end of 2022, saving people 23 hours of download time every month. You can read it here.

Yours sincerely,

Ros Singleton, Chair, UK5G Advisory Board
