Dear Members,

I hope you’re well.

Submissions closed for the 5G Showcase Awards this week and I am so pleased with the fantastic response. We have had well over a hundred nominations. The expert panel will have a big challenge shortlisting!

The number of delegate registrations for the UK’s 5G Showcase Event is also very high. We are still on the lookout for corporates and investors from the “demand side”. Please do feel free to share this overview with companies and organisations who are seeking to realise and maximise benefit from the application and scaling of 5G technologies.

Meanwhile, do keep an eye on upcoming individual project events which are coming thick and fast: we’ve already seen some exciting showcases from Project Vista and Milton Keynes, 5G Wales Unlocked and Green Planet AR, with more to come as we head into March from 5G Connected Forest, Liverpool and 5G Festival.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Driver,
Head of UK5G
