Dear members,

Following a successful year of innovative projects across a range of sectors, I am absolutely delighted with the progression of our 5G Testbed and Trials Programme and apparently, I am not the only one…

At the Connected Britain Awards, earlier this month, 5G Rural Dorset picked up three awards. The important project explores how next-generation connectivity can benefit the people that live and work in rural areas. WM5G also took home the Smart City Initiative Award for its development and roll-out of a range of 5G-enabled transport solutions across the Midlands region.

I hope you enjoy the newsletter. We’ve got some brilliant content this week.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Driver, Head of UK5G
