With government committed to a 5G future, how can rural areas seize the opportunities of this disruptive technology? There are multiple opportunities for new business models but will “old school” spectrum policies inhibit progress?

Find out the answers at this event, discussing practical experiences of deploying 5G flavoured wireless technologies and understanding what that can teach us about spectrum allocation and management in rural areas for future 5G networks.

This seminar is for people interested in opportunities around rural wireless - technology, regulatory space, local authorities, government agencies, equipment manufacturers, WISPs, mobile operators, etc.

The afternoon is split into two sessions:

Discussion of practical experiences of 5G flavoured equipment and spectrum.
Discussion of future business models and how policy could impact this.
