At this event you will explore the key enablers for Dynamic Spectrum Access for 5G and beyond, including flexible RF systems, distributed spectrum monitoring and secure protocols, and learn from the technical challenges faced in other spectrum sharing frameworks such as that of the US.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Radio spectrum, fundamental to all wireless systems, is becoming more congested and its management more challenging. Regulators are considering moving from licensing fixed bands to Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA), meeting demand based on evolving need and availability. Ofcom’s 2018 Spectrum Strategy proposed the incentivisation of spectrum sharing in both existing licensed bands and new bands, and the US is also promoting this approach to spectrum management.
At this event we will explore the key enablers for Dynamic Spectrum Access for 5G and beyond, including flexible RF systems, distributed spectrum monitoring and secure protocols, and learn from the technical challenges faced in other spectrum sharing frameworks such as that of the US.
