Frequency Bandwidth for 5G

Hi everyone,
I would like to understand how the frequency bandwidth will be allocated for 5G in the UK? Will this be on a bids basis, leased from government or distributed another way?
If there are any sources to help understand this I would much appreciate it!

Some spectrum at 3.4GHz has already been sold (by auction) to the existing UK mobile operators. Ofcom will award more spectrum in the 700MHz and 3.6-3.8GHz bands by Q2 2020. The spectrum, which has reserve prices, will be auctioned to the highest bidders. Coverage conditions will be imposed. Contact me at mnewman@tmforum.org if you would like more info.
