    Satellite is the only technology that's available ubiquitously. It's used extensively for backhauling 2G, 3G & 4G. It is expectected to play a similar role in 5G.

    There is a common misconception that all 5G technology will have sub-ms latency. This is absolutely not true, not even for URLLC.

    • Harmonising satellite with 5G makes a lot of sense, particularly where the technology can augment 5G services.
