Erik Kampert

Senior Research Fellow

About Erik

Erik Kampert received his MSc and PhD in natural sciences from the Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands in 2005 and 2012, respectively, the latter work focussing on molecular magnetism, carried out at the High Field Magnet Laboratory and the Molecular Materials group within the Institute for Molecules and Materials at the RU. He continued his research as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Germany, where he conducted electrical transport and magnetisation experiments in pulsed magnetic fields in collaboration with visiting, international scientists. In 2017, he joined the Connectivity and Communications Technology group within WMG’s Intelligent Vehicles Research Team at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, as a Senior Research Fellow. Using his vast background in RF electromagnetic experimentation and analytics, the focus of his current research is on 5G millimetre wave communication for vehicular-to-everything and industrial Internet of Things applications.
