We are looking for Councils who wish to partner with us on deploying locked, docked & charging E-scooters throughout the trials with their chosen opperator. Specifically linking to an MNO and a scooter operator to enhance geofencing technology. There is currently funding through the WM5G Competition.

5G enabled road and rail transport trials in the West Midlands, round 2: UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £2.5 million to support development of 5G enabled transport innovations. CALL OUT TO VOI: You are currently running the trials in TFWM and an MNO. We hope you would be interested in collaborating together on the WM5G Competition. If we could enhance your geofencing technology with an MNO and link it to smart our docking stations, this could enhance the mobility offering in the UK.
Over the coming months there will be more coming up, so if other Councils and 5G test beds have a scooter operator launching in your area we would welcome a conversation!
