CELTIC-NEXT facilitates the development of the next generations of enabling telecommunications technologies and end-to-end services. The scope is broad with key topics ranging across network capacity, photonics, satellite, mobility, security, robustness, energy efficiency, 5G and beyond, Smart Cities, Smart Homes, Industry 4.0, Logistics, Blockchain, Fintech, E-Health, Big Data, Internet of Things, Privacy, Identity and Public Safety and Security – in effect, anything that moves us towards the ‘Smart Connected World’.
Participating companies may be funded by their Public Authorities. We are delighted to say Innovate UK has earmarked £2M for CELTIC-NEXT and we encourage UK companies to participate. Projects must be international with at least one partner from another participating nation. Please note there is a two-step application process. In order for an application to be eligible for the Innovate UK competition opening in April, your proposal must be first submitted to the CELTIC-NEXT office in order to get a ‘label’ – essentially an endorsement that the proposal meets the necessary EUREKA! criteria.
The deadline to submit for a label is 8 April 2019. This is done online – call details and full supporting information is accessible at https://www.celticnext.eu/call-information/
Don’t miss your chance to get into high TRL projects that typically achieve market entry!
