Getting projects together to foster collaboration has been part of the success of UK5G and will form a major part of the new UKTIN organisation.

Simon Rowell, Head of Programme Development for the Future Network Programmes (FNP) at DCMS, began the formal presentations of the day by outlining DCMS’ approach to interventions in the digital connectivity area. He started by observing that while he is fairly new to the programme, he has been struck by the vast number of professional personnel and the amount that everyone wants to achieve.  As he succinctly put it to attendees: “you’re in good hands with the DCMS team”.

The 5GTT Programme officially ended back in March but as UK5G draws to a close, now feels like a natural time of reflection. UK5G speaks to Keith Bullock, 5G Programme Director at DCMS.
